Jeffrey Chan Releases New Single "Porsche" Featuring Skam R'tist

Launching off of the momentum of his debut album ‘Spectrum’, Jeffrey Chan has released his brand new single ‘Porsche’, featuring Houston-based rapper Skam R’tist.

‘Porsche’ is the lead single off of Chan’s upcoming sophomore album. Blending together electro-pop with R&B and hip-hop influences, the song sees Chan exploring new sonic territories. The song details that of an individual giving all that they can and have, to their lover, yet it still not being enough for them; with the Porsche in the track serving as a metaphor for “all that one has to offer”. Having just returned from completing a string of gigs in New York and Los Angeles, and having worked on his next project there; the single is set to be accompanied by a music video release (the first of a trilogy of music videos, which will see it unravel as the release of his sophomore album grows closer).

With critics describing Chan’s debut album as an unequivocally pop album and likening his
vocal tones to a contemporary David Bowie, four of the five singles all received radio airplay on
independent radio stations around Australia, with ‘Love It’ being nominated for an award at the
Australian Independent Music Awards in 2016.
