Matias Redefines Latin Pop With His DOPE New Single "Vida Mia"

Matias is an American/Colombian pop artist redefining Latin Pop, while connecting with the ever-growing population of American born Hispanics and beyond. Born to an immigrant Colombian father and American mother life for Matias has always been that of great diversity. At a young age, Matias began singing, all types of music but mainly focusing on classical music and opera till the age of 15. It was then when songwriting and performing began calling his name.

In the summer of 2016, Matias moved to Colombia for a year to connect with his roots and work on new music. He had the pleasure to work with Grammy Nominated Producer Jorge “Pyngwi” Holguin and Juan da Morales. It was during this time Matias found a true calling to the kind of music he wanted to play and write.

Matias’s new single, “Vida Mia”, is a certified Latin crossover banger. Since its release in July, the song has received over 23k thousand plays and is scheduled to be added to more major playlists this month, including our Music Discovery collection. The song has been receiving excellent feedback globally and truly embraces what is the current and future culture of Latin Pop. With a catchy melody and captivating lyrics in both Spanish and English, this is a song that will be stuck in your head.

This song was produced by Alejandro "Noise Up" Roblado, who has produced songs for major upcoming Latin artist such as Pasabordo and Rels B. He also works with one of Reggaeton's top songwriters Bull Nene. The song was co-written by Rich Rivera of Skywritten Music, a direct affiliate of Wyclef Jean's Heads Music.
