Adelaide's Pinkish Blu Release New Single "Capricorn"

With references ranging from Greek mythology and star signs, to the bible, "Capricorn" speaks about how the strange and wonderful depths of one’s mind can be hard to deal with when in a relationship.

Following the release of their 2018 neon-hued debut single "Lovely", the Adelaide-based alternative sad-pop quartet Pinkish Blu now give you their highly anticipated second single "Capricorn".

Still channeling their emotional, 80’s inspired, post-punk, happy-sad vibes "Capricorn" delivers a sonically energetic punch. A creatively mature step in the direction of owning their unique sound, the new single is filled with synth hooks and signature guitar tone, complimented with inventive songwriting and lyricism.

So far Pinkish Blu have supported bands such as Trophy Eyes, WAAX, Kingswood and MANE, as well as performed at Adelaide’s staple Stonecutters Festival. After the release of "Lovely" they also signed management with Rachel Whitford of VVV Management (Dear Seattle, Between You & Me, Sweater Curse, and Eliza & The Delusionals), and bookings with Jimmy Kleiner of 123 Agency (Ocean Alley, Tash Sultana, Delta Riggs, Trophy Eyes, Asha Jeffries).

Immediately following the release of their second single "Capricorn", the band will be playing the iconic BIGSOUND Festival in Brisbane and will be following their showcase with a handful of shows to round out the year (more TBA).
