What does the name "Solo Island" mean? Does it have a special significance?

It has many meanings like; isolated from everybody else, almost like your in a different world or on your own island. The name is very special it has become apart of me, it has become me. I have been able to do a lot of things since I came up with it, the sound that I have now is because of it. That was when I realized that I had the power to create my own path.

Tell us about how your new single "Days Before LONER" ties into your upcoming EP "LONER". Would you say that the EP has a theme?

Yes it does, the overall atmosphere will remain the same, but slightly darker than Days Before LONER. That song is to show people what their getting into, its pretty much showing how I became a loner in the first place, like a direct prequel. The project does have a theme, which is that sometimes your better off alone; its a coming of age tale and how I was able to accept who I am.

How would you say that your music stands out from the other rap and RnB music coming out of South Florida?

Nobody down here does Dark Pop period unless they heard me say or do it, to me I have literally created my own genre by mixing others into one. My music constantly has themes of depression and darkness while distracting most people because of my voice or the beat or cause they don't pay attention. I have an underlying message in almost all my songs. I can switch my flow, vocal tone, and bars on the drop of a dime while actually singing. Not the sing rap that some people do, I mean i am actually singing but I do rap too. Plus I produce, engineer, and write majority of my stuff. I just process the way music should be differently pretty much.

If you had to describe yourself as an artist in three words, which would you choose?

Indifferent, dark, enigmatic
