Portland, OR based rap artist Q.Z. Tha Leader returns to DCWS triumphantly and has taken over the website with his just released, self-produced album “Dark Matter(s)”. On this new album Q.Z. grapples with the light and darkness we all struggle to balance in our everyday lives. This abstract battle permeates throughout the album exposing traumatic shifts in Q.Z.’s paradigm.
“Dark Matter(s)” is comprised of thirteen tracks and features S.L.I.C. 7000, Christina, Young Canon, and Devans Verse. As we mentioned before, the album was produced totally by Q.Z., and with ease, he provides the listener with beats that feel organic and otherworldly at times, bouncing from screeching guitar solos to vinyl carved boom bap breaks.
