Olivia O'Brien Releases Her New Micromixtape "The Results of My Poor Judgement"
/Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Olivia O’Brien, who has amassed over 1 billion global artist streams and is about to kick off her much anticipated 25-city headlining It Was A Sad f**king Tour on February 25th, continues her innovative micromixtape series with the release of The Results Of My Poor Judgement available now via Island Records.
The Results Of My Poor Judgement, which consists of three new tracks “Was It All In My Head?,” “Josslyn,” and “Sad Together,” follows up Olivia’s first micromixtape release in November, titled It Was A Sad F**King Summer. It was comprised of two intensely personal tracks, "Sad Songs In the Summer" and "Almost In Love," each accompanied by a visualizer that played on Olivia’s colorful and nostalgic aesthetic.
After gaining massive success with “i hate u i love u” in 2015, her 1 billion-streaming, RIAA five-time-platinum, self-composed smash collaboration with gnash, Olivia became regarded as a rising pop star to be reckoned with. It Was A Sad F**King Summer and The Results Of My Poor Judgement serves as Olivia’s first new music since her debut album Was It Even Real? was released last spring. The LP gathered all of Olivia’s critically acclaimed single releases, including “UDK,” “I Don’t Exist,” “Care Less More,” "Love Myself," "Just Friends," and "Just A Boy.
The upcoming It Was A Sad f**king Tour (with March 14th at Webster Hall in New York City already sold-out in advance) continues the positive career trajectory of one of Island’s most promising young artists, who was named one of Paper magazine’s "100 Women Revolutionizing Pop Music."
