California Folk Singer-Songwriter Joel Cuzzi Unveils His New Album "Footprints"
/Californian folk/singer-songwriter Joel Cuzzi carries an undeniable hardcore punk ethos and stamp on his signature sound. You can hear the scenes he's been a part of and the band's he's loved. In particular, Joel had befriended (and played 3 tours with) Tony Sly of hardcore punk icons No Use for a Name. The album "Footprints" is dedicated to his memory.
Engineered in Oakland by Ben Bernstein, and mastered at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, “Footprints” is a tour de force of folk rock. The new record features vocal appearances from musicians Jared Stinson of Sic Waiting and Morty Lopez of the Kegels.
Writing about Joel Cuzzi’s pedigree, Streetlight Records observed, "here is another fan of hardcore who turned to more intimate music, with a spot of crunch left in it".
