Conscious releases debut EP 'Belle Noone'
/In a world where ‘trapping’ is the norm, it’s always refreshing to hear artists that value lyricism, production, and more importantly the culture of Hip-Hop. For Norwich, CT artist Conscious, his devotion to the culture and the craft is apparent on his recently released debut EP “Belle Noone”.
While the influence of poetry and jazz can be heard throughout the 5-song EP, its Conscious’ voice coupled with his delivery that makes him one to watch. His raspy tone is reminiscent of J. Cole but his wordplay is all his own. With the added bonus of solid production, Conscious has a dope debut on his hands.

Also worth the listen is a track titled ‘Confidence’ featuring New York City based emcee ‘Marvelous’. While not included on his debut release, it served as my introduction to Conscious. Over jazzy production courtesy of Sensi and Nat Moody the two exchange verses that are very confident in content.
