Watch "Bless Me", the DOPE New Video by Michigan Rapper Sean Mic
Fresh on the DCWS scene is Sean Mic, a talented rap artist from Lansing, Michigan, who is also currently a junior at Michigan State University. Though his musical influences include Nas, Logic, and Hopsin, listeners of Sean’s music often describe his personality as unique compared to other artists involved in the hip-hop genre.
Sean recently released a new music video for his single “Bless Me”, which was directed by John Quintana of Arc Sky Entertainment. Sean wanted the video shot in Colorado because he views the state at his 2nd home. He felt like everything from the mountains, to the city of Denver, would be a great setting for the video.
The song itself, produced by Syndrome, is a featured track on his upcoming project, “My write hand and my notepad.” In the song, Sean is saying that his bars are so phenomenal that the beat should be blessed by his presence. Sean also discusses why he loves making music, stating that, “making music solves problems in me.”
Sean uses his music to help cope with the stress that life has to offer. Sean Mic has not released an official date for his project, but it is anticipated to be released this summer.
