Ultra_eko is Back With His Masterful New Music Video "Twisted"
South London based rap artist Ultra_eko returns to DCWS following his debut EP, “Kitchen Sink Dramas”, with the latest music video for one of its featured tracks, “Twisted” (prod. by SYKO). Directed by LevMusic, the “Twisted” visual gives us a very cinematic, gut-wrenching and graphic depiction of drug addiction and the path of total self-destruction that one can walk in the midst of their high.
Speaking about “Twisted”, Ultra_eko says, “I think of this track as the sort of prodigal son returning type tale, although in this case he is returning to the ruin and destruction that he has left behind in the wake of his addictions. A simple twist of fate and his own destined path, had led him to a life of addiction; a life that leaves him broken and eaten up, consumed by regrets for all the mistakes he has made. I really love the writing in this song, and for me personally, it is my favourite track from the EP”.
Like Ultra_eko’s last music video, “King of the Wild Things”, that we featured on DCWS, we are totally blown away by the story that he is able to tell visually here with LeMusic. The “Twisted” song is intense already, but the clip just elevates it to another level.
