Thursday came early on DCWS because we are thankful to be able to share “Angelic” with you. This newly released single/video by Paris and NYC based artist Théo GOUDE, was produced by Pacific, a Dutch beatmaker duo and features Yann N, a young singer and rapper based between France and Canada.
Théo’s seamlessly genre blending “Angelic” was written at 5 AM on a drunken yet nostalgic night in Montreal, and oppositely to what the title suggests, is about dealing with one’s demons and how jealousy can be used for good rather than something one takes shame in.
The self-directed music video for “Angelic” attempts at the encapsulation of different relationships people have with jealousy; underlining the broken state of every individual in a conditioned environment.
