Swift Shares the Official Music Video For His Single "Elevate"

On the heels of the release of his “Worth The Wait” album, Durham native and Atlanta based Swift has dropped official music video for its lead single "Elevate". “Worth The Wait” is the full-length follow-up to 2017's “For What It's Worth”, and serves as the second installment in the rapper's "Worth" series. The project features fellow North Carolina natives Phocuz, Loverboy Vo, and more.

More About Swift:

Swift's fusion of quick-witted raps and soulful melodies first spawned his smash hit “Pull Up.” The Atlanta transplant saw local success in his hometown of Durham, North Carolina as a part of groups. It wasn’t until Swift relocated to Atlanta and embarked on a solo career that he was able to build his own fan base. Swift’s unique blend of old school hip-hop with a new school spin helped him stand out. Swift was eventually afforded the opportunity to work with notable artists such as 9th Wonder, August Alsina, Quavo, Don Cannon, Maestro, No I.D, Shawty Redd, Yung Joc, Gorilla Zoe, DJ Nando, Brian Dawson and many more.

In 2010, Swift released a mixtape called 2010; and in early 2011, another called Guns & Roses, which featured guests J. Holiday, Rocko, Slick Pulla and Yung Joc. Soon after, Swift released his independent project, The Yellow Tape.

As Swift’s buzz in Atlanta grew, his music caught the attention of Grammy award-winning artist Akon, which lead to Swift’s deal with Konlive Distributions. In February 2012, Swift was picked up by Def Jam Records and signed his second major deal before going on to feature on Epic recording artist Cash Out’s hit single “Turn Up.” Swift`s first single “I Like” featuring Young Jeezy also enjoyed commercial success. In December 2012, Swift released the smash mixtape, M.D.M.I. (Major Deal, Minor Issues). Now, the former Def Jam and Epic Records signee steps out independently to make his comeback, positioning his brand for more commercial success.
