Singer-Songwriter Tess Anderson Shares the Clip For Her Single "Don't Believe In"
DCWS is excited to bring you the brand new music video entitled “Don’t Believe In” by Vancouver based singer-songwriter Tess Anderson. The song itself, which was co-written with and produced by Ryan Guldemond, is part of Tess’s debut EP entitled “Onward”, which will be released on August 13th. The music video was directed by Sabine Kahwaji.
Speaking about her single/video, Tess says:
"Being an artist and a young mother both have challenges on their own, but when you throw them together it can often feel like a losing battle. Writing “Don’t Believe in '' with Ryan Guldemond became a huge turning point in my life and career, helping me break through some of that impossibility and prove to myself that it's okay to believe in something more. Society seems to condition women to believe that we have to choose between a rewarding career or being a good mother. I believe that both can be possible. By bringing this story to life through song, and music video, I hope to support other women fighting the same battle, as well as inspire anyone who struggles to believe that what they want out of life is, in fact, available to them."
Through a window frame, this music video explores the life of a single mother's aspirations while raising her child. This is an intimate close-up of the beauty and exhaustion life entails. Not only does this surround motherhood, but rather finding the strength you hold within.
