DCWS is stoked to introduce you to Ryan O'Connell, a talented singer-songwriter who found his niche writing and performing original comedy songs that go beyond the fleeting novelty of punch lines and firmly into "I can't get this hook out of my head" territory. Sometimes relatable, sometimes absurd, but always good for a laugh, he's recently ventured into music videos where he can flex his talents as a comedic performer while putting his MFA in film production to good use.

Ryan currently resides in Phoenix, AZ with his wife and four young children - frequently drawing inspiration from the challenges of being a dad who works at home. With the success of the Kickstarter-funded "LMPIP - A Father's Odyssey", he looks forward to completing a full comedy album featuring songs about bigfoot, putting sex on the calendar, and how his OCD means he cleans up his kids' toys while they're still playing with them.

The hilarious "LMPIP" is Ryan’s second comedy music video and single release following "Mass Fitness" (watch HERE), a satire of early 90's hip-hop with the theme of being too out of shape for church.

This self-directed “LMPIP” clip finds Ryan attempting to poop in peace, but that’s not possible with a brood of kids seeking his attention. Ryan serenades the viewer across various scenes, including the wilderness, at home, and ultimately at jail!
