Nina Unofficial Unveils the Visuals to Her Single "Sure Thing"
Nina Kaze, known as Nina Unofficial is an Iranian-American actress and musician based out of Los Angeles. Born in Iran and raised all around the world including London, Moscow and Toronto before moving to LA where she has acted on film and on stage.
Nina’s former band, "The British Accent," a project with producer “Andy Gukasian”, reached number 14 on the charts on "RML" radio in Lebanon, based on public request. When a friend of NINA's moved from LA to Lebanon, he took one of her CDs. Weeks later, he called to let her know her song, "Forgotten," was a hit on the biggest Lebanese radio station alongside Madonna and Beyonce. When "Forgotten" made its way back to the US, it reached number 1 on 365 live.
Now a solo artist Nina Unofficial (classified under ”NINA" on Spotify and all other platforms as the term unofficial is not permitted to be used) has spent the last few years preparing the release of her debut EP, "With Love, Nina" a collection of melodic and country-tinged alternative pop songs.
Her first single, “Sure Thing”, for which she shot a music video last year, is a huge leap forward for Nina, who has been writing songs for years, slowly building a catalogue but without recording or performing her songs live yet.
Inspired by heartbreak, "Sure Thing“ came out of a trip to Joshua Tree and was completed in LA In collaboration with Hungarian composer “Doma Schrank”. The song is ultimately about the struggle within one’s self between light and dark and believing in yourself and the good in you.
