Los Angeles Based Artist Jagwar Twin Releases His Joy-Filled "Shine" Fan Video
With a core message of unity and a hope to create a strong sense of community in the world, Jagwar Twin is drawn magnetically to a shared human spirit. His anthemic debut album, “Subject to Flooding” (out now on Atlantic Records), included the viral hit “Loser,” a track that speaks to how we are all more alike than different.
The song made an instantaneous splash after premiering worldwide on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1, racking up more than 8 million Spotify streams and garnering early Alternative Radio airplay. Produced by S1 (Kanye West, Beyoncé, Lorde) and Matt Pauling (5SOS, All Time Low) with mixing by Adam Hawkins (twenty one pilots), “Subject to Flooding” is the result of a uniquely collaborative process which ultimately welcomed contributions from Jeff Bhasker, Travis Barker of blink-182, children’s choirs and more. Jagwar Twin has most recently toured with lovelytheband and Avril Lavigne, electrifying crowds with a magnetic stage presence, energized unity, and anthemic songs.
Jagwar Twin has just released his joy-filled “Shine” fan video. “Shine” is a song about taking collective ownership or our world and rising each new day to change the world together and find positivity. The fan-sourced video was inspired by Jagwar Twin’s core message of unity, which hopes to create a stronger sense of community in the world.
The “Shine Together Video” features fans singing and videoing themselves to “Shine” and has blown up on social media where inspired fans are creating art, dance videos, and covers to continue spreading togetherness and positivity during this difficult time.
Along with spreading unity and community through his music, Jagwar Twin has been leading free weekly guided meditation to help shine a light on the importance of mental health. The sessions have seen people joining from all over the world, including Turkey, Egypt, Scotland, and more.
