Leona Berlin Unveils the DOPE Music Video For Her "Cage" Single

Brand new to DCWS is Leona Berlin, an artist who has something to say. She doesn't just want to make music, but to give people inspiration and food for thought. With her atmospheric Alternative Soul she provides the listener with a deep insight into her own cosmos. Her open and direct nature is as real as her last name and makes every live show a unique exciting experience.
After collaborating with internationally known musicians such as Ray Angry (The Roots), Casey Benjamin and Burniss Earl Travis (Robert Glasper Experiment) for her debut album (“Leona Berlin“, Warner Music 2018), Leona is currently working on her second album. The first singles "Monkeys" and Feminine Energy“ were already released and further singles will follow.
Speaking about her new single/video, Leona says “Cage” is about the extreme and indescribable experience of seeing the supposedly certain reality fall to pieces before your very own eyes. When the view of the unknown becomes clear and the mind tries in vain to understand what is happening.
“Cage” is the second one of several releases that lead to my next album. Other singles follow, including "Wrong Lane" featuring Hip Hop icon Snoop Dogg.
