Gifted Rap Artist Chris Gauge Shares His New Single/Video "Never Leave The House"

New to DCWS is the hella talented rap artist Chris Gauge who has been honing his writing skills and constantly working on his craft. Chris wears his heart on his sleeve and dives deep into his life experiences to bring a real and relatable experience through his music.

Starting out from battle rapping in his high school Chris formed the group Encourage.Create.Triumph with his childhood best friends; not only a means to make music but a means to keep them all close as they continue through life. Chris' only intention is to make people feel something when listening to his music whether it be pain, joy, or excitement.

Speaking of excitement, Chris just dropped his new single/video “Never Leave The House”, which was produced by Zerosand1nes. The song itself was written during the quarantine, and is the first single from Chris’s upcoming project "If Anything Happens I Love You".

The visual for “Never Leave The House” was shot, edited, and directed by Chris’s friend PowerofVisionz, and finds him spitting his bars from various vantage points; upside down, in the rain, in the kitchen, and elsewhere. It really doesn’t matter where or how Chris appears in the video though, because simple and plain, the shit is DOPE, and is a video that I could watch over and over again.

Speaking about his new release, Chris says “I believe the delivery along with the wordplay and punchlines give this song a quick burst of energy that's easily replayable and digestible. I think that most people who give the song a chance tend to enjoy it and this is just the beginning and I'm only looking to go up from here”.
