DOPEST Video of the Week: "X" by Frames Brown
Frames Brown is a talented rap artist from Detroit, currently located in Los Angeles, who provides us with our new DOPEST Video of the Week, entitled “X”, directed by Tragic Vision. The song itself is produced by CashMoneyAp and is dedicated to Frames Brown’s mother Stacy Hedges and slain rapper Xxxtentaction.
Frames Brown is most known for his song "Mr. Philipp Plein." His music captures the raw grittiness of the street while also promoting a positive message. Frames illustrates that even those who come from the worst situations can still be successful and accomplish their goals. Despite his troubled youth, both of his parents being federally incarcerated, and tragically losing his mother to alcohol addiction, Frames graduated from the University of Southern California with a full ride scholarship in 2018 and is now preparing for graduate school. Frames has performed at several prominent events such as New York Fashion Week and has also had his music used as the theme song for GQ Magazine's Documentary Series "King of Bling." His prior release "D-Boy" features Detroit legends Snap Dogg and Helluva.
