Detroit Rapper/Producer ruffiØ Releases His Nightmarish New Music Video "Mayday"

Detroit’s very own ruffiØ is a producer, rapper and musician who has lived in 11 different states, yet finds that his hometown has had the most profound impact on his music, which is a blend of elements of hip-hop as well as the attitude of hardcore.

ruffiØ mentions that his music explores themes that almost everyone can relate to, including depression, anger, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, and that through his music, the listener will know that they are not alone dealing with their hardship. How can you not respect that?

ruffiØ has just released the Gio Bartlett directed music video to his song “Mayday”, and we are excited to share this intense clip with you right now. The “Mayday” song’s booming instrumental was produced by ILO, and the visual takes the already DOPE auditory experience to a whole ‘nother level. It’s nightmarish at times; you want to turn away or close your eyes, but you can’t, because you’re loured in and want to see how it ends. We won’t give away the video’s climax, but let’s just say that ruffiØ’s doppelganger needs to relax (NORE voice).
