Now, the DC-based electro-pop trio SHAED is embarking on their Trampoline Tour, hitting Chicago, Boston, NYC, Philadelphia and DC through February and March of next year. News of the band’s headline run comes on the heels of their single “Trampoline” – which appears on the band’s new EP Melt.
SHAED released the self-produced Melt on September 21st via Photo Finish Records, garnering accolades from the likes of NYLON, Mother Jones and i-D Magazine, who featured the band with an in-depth article and premiered the video for the title-track. Since releasing their debut EP Just Wanna See in the fall of 2016, the trio has toured and shared stages with the likes of Bishop Briggs, Marian Hill, Charli XCX, St. Lucia, X Ambassadors, VÉRITÉ, Jacob Bank, Sir Sly, Coast Modern and more, resulting in a striking live show that is tighter than ever. Anchored by Chelsea Lee’s soulful vocals and powerful melodies, twin producers Spencer and Max Ernst take turns across keyboards, electric guitar, percussion and bass to recreate the band’s unique production across an atmospheric soundscape.
