David Haerle - Women Make The World Go ‘Round feat. Bess Harrison
“Women Make The World Go ‘Round” sends out some serious feel-good vibes with its buoyant, dreamy rock feel. David Haerle, his band and fellow lead vocalist Bess Harrison have created a song that will be relevant for decades to come.
The video for “Women Make The World Go ‘Round” is a celebration of some of the participants who made history at the Los Angeles Women’s March, part of the world-wide movement of the Women’s March held on January 21, 2017. The director, Red Phosphorus, uses inspired slow motion close-up shots to create a video portrait of the marchers, revealing their diversity, strength, their inner and outer beauty.
Capturing the emotional experiences of the march, the video conveys the love, solidarity and togetherness connected with the song. Showing free, resilient, powerful women who are mothers, educators, advocates, leaders, students, and everything else under the sun, this multi-generational portrait includes mother-daughter pairs, couples, children, and men proudly beside them. All are standing equal regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, disability or national origin.
“Women Make The World Go ‘Round” celebrates the very best of human nature with the music going straight to the heart.
When not creating his own music, David serves as President of the Los Angeles-based independent record company, CMH Label Group, home to Vitamin String Quartet, Rockabye Baby!, the Pickin’ On Series and a rich catalog of bluegrass and traditional country music.
