Caleb Hurst Drops His New Single/Video "love is over", Featuring Logan
We are stoked to introduce you to experimental electronic pop artist Caleb Hurst who recently released a new single and accompanying music video titled "love is over." The track was written, performed and produced by Hurst and Logan Beckham who had previously directed two of Hurst's music videos. This video however, was directed and edited by Hurst himself in collaboration with Jacob Bottorff and Ruby Westkaemper. Hurst has challenged himself to release a new single and music video each month. This is the second installment of that challenge, following "All of Your Love."
"love is over" was built off of loops, drum machines, analog and digital synths, and layered vocals. Sonically, it blends catchy melodies with experimental production, and existential lyrics with pulsing danceable beats. The video, shot in Hurst's apartment complex, features bright bold colors, trippy visual effects and lots of slow motion underwater footage. Expect the unexpected with "love is over" and with each upcoming project from Caleb Hurst.
