DCWS is excited to introduce you to Amar Miller, a talented artist from Toledo, OH who is currently attending Oklahoma State University majoring in Aerospace Studies. He has been creating and publishing music since middle school, but only in recent years where his artistic maturity has flourished, going so far as to be praised by producers such as daedaePIVOT (executive producer for Saba), Kilam (produced for YNW Melly, Xxxtentacion, Ski Mask The Slump God, and more), and by artists such as Casso and Patagonist.
Amar recently dropped his DOPE track entitled “Long Road (Never Coming Home Pt. 1)”, produced by hiddenoasis and versus beats, which he recorded in his college dorm during a weekend's worth of reminiscing on the good times before becoming a stressed-out college kid. “Long Road (Never Coming Home Pt. 1)” is featured on Amar’s 11-track album from last year, “Better Late Than Never…”.
Accompanying the track is the music video, which is the first visual that Amar has directed, shot, and edited. Speaking about the clip, Amar says “Only a good friend and my little sister touched my iPhone to record besides myself. Very proud of how this came out considering my very low budget circumstances, and I think the video really adds a perfect visual aesthetic to the song.”
