Toronto's GTech Releases His Latest Track "I Met Her At Caribana"
Toronto is a city well known for producing some of the DOPEST artists on the planet, and another resounding example of this musical excellence is GTech, who has been working on his craft for 20 years. His style of music is focused mainly on the avenues of boom bap, a mix of trap, and conscious rap, and his inspirations include Eminem, 50 Cent, Russ, J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Royce Da 5'9, & Crooked I.
This talented artist, producer, video editor, engineer and member of the hip-hop group Foxpack just dropped his track "I Met Her At Caribana", produced by Six4-7. Speaking about the song and the event it’s named after, GTech states that:
“The song is a single and based on an annual Caribbean event that is held in Toronto every summer called Caribana. Caribana is a Caribbean festival celebrating Caribbean heritage with parties in Toronto, and the infamous Caribana parade where people dress in colourful Caribbean costumes. It is common to find beautiful women at these events, and the song describes how I meet a special woman that has travelled abroad to celebrate this event.”
