Toronto has been a hotbed of influential RnB and Hip-Hop music for over a decade now, with artists like Drake, Majid Jordan, PARTYNEXTDOOR and The Weeknd leading the way.

Next up to proclaim the crown is QTR, who hails from Toronto’s west end of the city. What began as a hobby of producing beats and writing music in his parents’ basement has since turned this singer-songwriter into an artist. QTR credits his Afro Swing and R&B influences to his West African, Ghanaian roots.

QTR has just released a brand new single entitled “Ends” which pays homage to the city that raised him and made him the creator he is today. Salute to the people and places of TO for inspiring QVR to drop DOPE music like this, and we want to hear more.
