ThisisMakaInc launches the latest remix of “Do It MySelf” with UK based producer Ian Hughes, which whom he has collaborated with on numerous EPs, and the singles, “Summer Rain”, “DNLW”, “Moxie” and “Sweatin’”. With several TV and film placements under their belt, the duo doesn’t seem to be slowing.

Ian Hughes has helped develop ThisisMakaInc’s Future Pop side in recent years, which combines and elevates ThisisMakaInc’s voice across numerous musical genres that work together. “Do It MySelf” sports a chrome finish, future funky synths and samples that highlight the anxiety and excitement about the future that ThisisMakaInc talks about in “Do It MySelf”.

This remix is just a sign of things to come, the latest in a number of new sessions to be released in early 2020 from the Canadian and British beat-smiths.

Ian Hughes said: “It’s always a great process to push yourself out of your comfort zone, Maka and I do that to each other and meet in the middle with new ideas. It gets great results, and we’re proud of what we come up with. This song is an important one, it’s about not listening to all the white noise around you and going for it in the only way you know how”.
