South West Sydney rapper J.P. releases moving new single “Let It Rain”, a single which encourages persistence to start fresh. Linking up with fellow Australian Hip-Hop heavyweight Fortafy, they go back and forth spitting meaningful facts with metaphoric bars to capture the track’s theme.

On the single, J.P. said, “This is that stadium kinda vibe, when I wrote this track I imagined myself in the spotlight performing to a huge crowd and giving them something to rock with”. On collaborating with Fortafy, “I really wanted to connect with a fellow hip hop artist in Australia doing their thing. We’ve got a modern wave coming through at the moment that is making an impact with the international scene. Fortafy has a great work ethic that I admire and I’m grateful he liked the track and jumped on to do his thing!”

J.P. mixes intelligent lyricism with melody to engage in versatility to his core fan base, and the evolving sounds of hip-hop music. “Let It Rain” is a promotional single for his EP titled “Over” slated for release first half of next year.
