Swedish Innovator Yung Lean Shares New Single "Skimask"
"Skimask" is the third track to be released from Stranger, the highly anticipated third studio album from the always unpredictable Swedish innovator Yung Lean. Stranger, out November 10th via YEAR0001, is a breathtaking document which cements his place as a pioneer of modern hip-hop and electronic music. After previously unveiling the hypnotic "Red Bottom Sky" and slick single "Hunting My Own Skin," "Skimask" is Yung Lean's most direct and hard-hitting track yet, set to thrill long-time fans who have followed Yung Lean's evolution from 17 year old viral sensation to influential cultural icon.
Produced by GUD, long-time collaborator and fellow member of SadBoys, the release of "Skimask" follows a huge year for Yung Lean; as well as independently releasing a full-length album Warlord and eight-track EP Frost God, he also embarked on a sold out world tour, featured on Frank Ocean's Blonde, starred in Calvin Klein's #MyCalvins campaign, launched his own Sadboys Gear brand, co-designed a sneaker for Eytys, and dropped a punk album together with GUD as Död Mark.
