South London Artist Adannay Unveils Her New Song "Summertime"
What a great way to start the weekend; we’ve got a brand new song to share with you. Entitled, “Summertime”, it is the latest single from South London RnB/Soul singer Adannay, that she just released today. Reminiscing over summer romance, this song combines melancholy with a driving dance beat to create a tune destined to be played during the summer months for years to come.
It’s a relatable scenario – you find someone during the summer, hook up, and then wonder if, for them, it was just a seasonal fling. Adannay puts these feelings of passion, lust and vulnerability into this track, which has all the hallmarks of a dance classic.
A stand-out piano motif, iconic bassline, and unique chord progression gives “Summertime” its own sound, while still being familiar to the ear. Adannay’s classic harmonies lift the chorus into a league of its own, while the beautifully produced synths round off a tune which has its roots in pop, dance and electronic music.
“Summertime” was written by Adannay and Fraser Bernstein, produced by Takooree, and mixed/mastered by Sam Brown aka Corduroy Brown.
