We’re stoked to be premiering “Sincere”, the brand new single by Four Oaks, NC based singer-songwriter HeartMouth. His music is a fresh mixture of the organic elements of folk, paired with modern elements of synth pop to create a fresh new approach to the singer-songwriter genre.
“Sincere” is HeartMouth’s first release in over a year, as he suffered his 4th right lung collapse, and went through his second surgery to repair the lung. Since regaining his ability to sing again, HeartMouth is back with a fresh, gritty tone to his voice.
“I've struggled with numerous spontaneous lung collapses and surgeries to repair them...as a singer, it has definitely made my career seem to come to a halt at times. I felt that the universe was dangling my music career in front of me like a toy - letting me catch it sometimes with the high points of my career, and ripping it away from me at the low points. Those times of not being able to breathe and the intense pain that came with it really made me come to appreciate every healthy breath that I take now. I want to put every ounce of sincerity within me in every breath of my music from here on out.”
