Singer-Songwriter Pauline Andres Lays it All on the Line With "Fearless Heart"
Nashville's Pauline Andrès has released the title track from her upcoming record, "Fearless Heart". Throughout the track, Andrès searches for the strength to face the inevitable struggles that come with gut-wrenching heartbreak. The overall message is one of perseverance and hope. One that embraces life's challenges and confronts them head-on with a fearless heart.
Pauline Andrès is no stranger to tough times. After going through an intense heartbreak, medical operations, and financial struggles, Andrès has risen up stronger than before. In making this new record she has endured adversity in its truest form,
"It was hard for me to get back into “badass mode” and I even wondered if maybe I had lost it. I totally lost my voice with everything that happened to me and it took me over a year to recover (including during the making of the record, which was pretty traumatic). But like in the song, I decided to continue and force myself to just be strong and if I didn’t have a fearless heart, then I’d work for it."
On "Fearless Heart", Pauline emerges victorious. With powerfully crafted electric guitars, a chorus of background vocals, and booming drums, the track transforms into a stunning epic rocker. Andrès has succeeded in finding a bigger, grittier sound, embodying her toughness and strength.
In order to capture her message of hope and determination, Pauline turned to longtime friend and former band member Jack Davis (Bear Witness Production), a US native, Berlin-based producer and multi-instrumentalist. She also enlisted musicians Thomas Guiducci, Stefano Chiappo, and Nashville based pedal steel champion Andy Ellison. The record was mixed by Grammy-nominated engineer Ross Petersen, who’s worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Andrès’ hero Bruce Springsteen, Sheryl Crow and Shania Twain.
