Pop Collective No Past No Future Unveil Their Debut Single "The Plug"
Pop collective No Past No Future have released their debut single "The Plug" via their N.P.N.F label imprint. N.P.N.F is a creative collective that was born out of the collaboration between songwriter/artist Yung Hemingway and songwriter/producer/Dj's Ty-Kee & Earl. N.P.N.F which stands for No Past No Future is a concept that was inspired by the book "The Power Of Now" by Ekhart Tolle. There is no past or future. All we truly have is the Now.
"The music is a celebration of moment we are in. Being able to create and collaborate in person was awesome. The music reflects a nostalgic feel while dealing with the effects of 2020".
Living in 3 different cities presented a challenge for this trio, so they met in Los Angeles to record. After a week of Birthday Cake sativa and Casa Migo's Anejo tequila the first wave of music was created. They called this first wave of music "Lakeside Vibes Vol. 1" (their upcoming EP) to pay homage to Yung Hemingway's roots in Chicago and their first time creating in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles.
"It's feels like summertime Chicago coming out of a pandemic".
