Mini Mac Returns With the slothbeats Produced Track "Ain't No Other Way"
After Mini Mac did a series of shows in support of his last project Mac Mentality, the Long Island - based lyricist stayed relatively quiet for about a year as he primarily focused on mastering his songwriting and wordplay. The first result was "One Shot," the song and video that served as an anthem for the hard-working independent artist that sounds like it could have been a classic '90s Pete Rock collab. But no, the production came from the incredible young German talent slothbeats in the year 2020.
Now, Mini Mac has linked up with slothbeats once again for "Ain't No Other Way." This time, the result is something more fierce with 808s and a tight crisp snare on the off beats that keeps the listener mesmerized. Some anticipation builds in the brief intro but as soon as the unfiltered beat drops, Mini Mac doesn't hesitate to go straight for the hook that has the listener head-bobbing almost instantly. In the first verse, Mac's bars never cease to impress as he skillfully switches up his cadence to effortlessly play off of slothbeats' slick minimalistic production. Nothing about the song is "minimal" though. Play it loud through car speakers to feel invincible.
