London Based Singer-Songwriter Hemi Moore Drops His Debut Single "365 (Acoustic)"
DCWS is excited to introduce to you, London based singer-songwriter Hemi Moore and his debut single “365 (Acoustic)”, an introspective, back-to-basics piano ballad that tenderly reflects on the cyclical nature of being, our repeated mistakes and the realities we face in the pursuit of moving forward.
Speaking on the release, Hemi commented: “I was going through a lot at this particular time. I couldn’t see myself when I looked in the mirror. I remember binge-watching Only Fools and Horses, and a scene came on where Rodney had given up the ghost, and he asks Del Boy- “after all this hustling when are we going to catch our break?”. Next thing I know I am sitting on a piano singing the first verse, and within the first 25 mins I’d written half the song. I took the demo in to producer Dominic James and managed to capture the vocal in the first take. We re-worked 365 on a follow-up session, but nothing came close to the version you’re about to hear this Friday”.
Since signing his publishing deal with Saulty Songs in the summer of 2019, Hemi has focused on refining his sound with the likes of Nick Atkinson, Edd Holloway, Hoost, Jonathan Quarmby and Adriano Buffone. Primed with an exciting body of work that is already turning heads, Hemi vows to follow in the footsteps of his musical influences (Jimi Hendrix, Nina Simone, Adele, Jay-Z and Ryan Tedder to name a few), and share his material with the world. If you follow your passion in earnest, everything else will fall into place- and the sky is the limit for Hemi Moore.
