Fresh to DCWS is the track entitled “2 Shots”, by Flint, MI based rapper Graphene. The PK produced song is featured on Graphene’s newly released debut EP “BLACK BOY”.

Speaking about the “BLACK BOY” EP, Graphene says, “BLACK BOY is a coming of age project. Like the process of creating this project, the process of growing as a Black boy in America is a beautiful struggle. With this project, you get a piece of me. I hope that this art diversifies your palate in one way or another. This project was created at home with just a microphone and computer over quarantine.”

Graphene is a talented emcee who definitely has a story to tell and conveys a powerful message on through his music. He graduated from an Ivy League school where he played football and has recently started taking music more seriously, which means that what we’re hearing with “2 Shots” and the “BLACK BOY” EP is just the beginning, and there’s much more music to come.
