Jus NBL is Back With the Song "Beating the Odds", Off His Brand New "Rebirth of the Cool" Project
West Philly’s own Jus NBL returns to DCWS with his newly released project dedicated to legendary trumpeter Miles Davis entitled “Rebirth of the Cool”. This incredible project includes his last featured banger of DCWS, “In My Bag”, with JP Da Illist, as well as the track that we are sharing with you now, “Beating the Odds”.
Speaking about “Beating the Odds”, Jus NBL says, “It’s a song about beating the odds that life throws at you in the song I’m talking about addiction and being broke not having any money. It is also a tribute to somebody I knew named Tariq; he would always say Beat The Odds before he passed so I decided to use it as paying respect.”
