Alex Wolf of Minneapolis duo IC BOI when speaking about their sound says that “our music is a mix between rap, indie, hip hop and straight vibes”. After listening to the song “Howl”, off he and his brother Nissa’s, EP “Smoke Alarm”, we couldn’t agree more, but there’s much more to be said.

Alex and Nissa’s “Howl” song is simply DOPE; it’s different in a good way, and it is clear that creativity is seeping out of their pores. The “Smoke Alarm” EP is comprised of five certified bangers, and “Howl” is the first song you’ll hear once you press “play”, but it won’t be the last because you’ll want to hear more, and before you know it, you’re finishing the last track, “Oh Ok”.

The EP is short and sweet, but that’s alright because Alex and Nissa are just getting started musically and we expect much more DOPE shit from them in the near future.
