Growing up in foster care, 20-year-old Dutch artist - Joshua J - has already won over the likes of Dr. Dre on earlier material ('Flowers' EP).

A DIY pioneer in every sense, Joshua J is not only a vocalist but also produces and masters his own material. He is also fully involved in the artwork creation, as well as directing, filming and editing his own visual content. Joshua also releases material through his own label 'CMP Records' (Custom Made Passion).

He began playing the piano at the age of 6 and went on to become a DJ aged 12 - which won him first prize in a National competition. Leaving the DJ career behind, Joshua J has since opened for acts such as Col3trane, ODIE & TheColorGrey.
