Born and raised in Chicago, Cassie Ray is a multi-talented hip hop and RnB artist, photographer, painter and fashion connoisseur. His music is a blend of rap, trap and emo-pop, with elements of soul and RnB.
At the age of 17, the young artist joined the USAF following the tragic loss of his father. During his five years of active duty, notably time he spent in Guam, Cassie Ray transformed his hobby of making music into a passion he immersed himself into intensely. Heavily influenced by his mother’s love of 90s RnB, the artist invested a genuine intensity into his music, blending in a comforting familiarity through his lyricism.
Cassie Ray released a string of 5 singles throughout 2019 and returns in 2020 with his unique signature melodic emo hip-hop sound on “Acting Up”, out now on all platforms.
