Speaking on the release, Artemis Orion states:
“I wrote this song on a day I was feeling a bit down, discouraged and far from myself. I made it as a pick me up for myself and express positivity out of the negative emotions I had; I felt better afterwards.
This song is about self-love, pursuit of happiness, and optimism.”
Driven by nostalgia, dreams & the enigmatic universe, Artemis Orion paints a world of dark and dreamy narratives that embodies self-growth and dark optimism. The name derives from Greek mythology symbolizing the co-existence and attraction of opposite ideas—a fitting title for the American singer-songwriter/producer on her endless journey of self-discovery.
