Stream the New "Catching Me in Stride" Album by Houston Based Indie Trio Voyce Memos
Voyce Memos is an indie group comprised of three musicians. Richard Borger, lead producer/audio engineer originally from Florida and currently working out of his own home studio (Meraki Recordings) in Houston, TX, began working shortly as a solo artist before meeting drummer, Stephen Mokulis, and multi-instrumentalist/producer, Akash Gupta.
Once united, their unique backgrounds and inuences began to blend into a style all their own. The group dedicated time primarily after their full-time work days and on weekends, turning casual jam sessions into basis for songs and eventually recordings what would later become their first album. Melding various electronic, rock, dance and indie artists (including Tame Impala, Daft Punk, Phoenix, Radiohead, Grizzly Bear, Death Cab for Cutie, Washed Out, Zhu and many others), Voyce Memos music captures the ideas of human changes and the decisions we make, especially in relationships, love, and self-understanding. Driving funky bass lines and guitar riffs, on top of ethereal vocals and mixed electronic/live drumming, meld into something to which everyone can relate and groove.
The trio has just released their album "Catching Me in Stride" and we’ve got it ready for you to stream below. Also, be sure to connect with Voyce Memos on the website and social media.
