Stream "Spectra", the New EP by Boston Based Duo Musical Project The Keymakers

The Keymakers are a duo musical project from brothers Rome and Red out of Boston. Close from an early age, somehow the two worked on music completely independently until forming The Keymakers two years ago. Since then, they've used their diverse influences to develop a dynamic sound, and have amassed a following through success on streaming services such a Spotify, where they've hit over 1 million plays.

The dynamic nature that drives their music also influences how they perform. Justin used to DJ college parties and shows - Jerome used to play saxophone in a jazz band and sing RnB - and both of those histories are evident in their live performance. Through incorporating DJing/Mixing, live instrumentation, sampling, drumming, and vocals, they do everything they can to make sure the audience is having a good time.

The brothers have just released their first multi-track EP entitled “Spectra”, which they self produced, wrote and performed, and we are stoked to be able to share it with you below. In their own words about the new project, they say that,

“This is our first multi-track project and we pushed ourselves to do something different with this. There are 7 tracks on the EP and we wrote it with the intention of making the tracks emotionally interactive, we want people to pour themselves into these songs. Whether that’s daydreaming, reminiscing, or hoping for the future, each track is all meant to take you somewhere. Each song tells its own story, but the stories drops a listener in to a moment in life, an instance or a feeling”.
