24 year old Indian-American first-generation artist iismaill (pronounced is-mile) is from Inland Empire, CA, specifically Fontana. He is the first in his family to pursue music, and he started writing poetry at the ages of 13-14, which eventually evolved into him writing full-fledged songs. He was on SoundCloud for about 2 1/2 years, before making his jump to music streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, etc.
iismaill is a part of "Badgenre", which is a rap collective consisting of other artists. He aspires to break ground in the hip-hop/rap scene within the United States and to one day go international. He's also working on his own clothing line at the moment.
