Stream "Grandma", the Newly Released Debut EP by Hazansky

“Grandma” is the debut release of Oregon Music Hall of Fame College Scholarship recipient Joseph Matveyenko. Produced in Los Angeles by Riley Geare (of Unknown Mortal Orchestra), the EP brings a tasteful blend of retro-soul and contemporary RnB. With the inspiration of moving in with his grandma for college, this release explores self-discovery and the importance of family.

Hazansky was formed by Joseph after breaking into the Portland music scene as a keyboardist for Salvatore Manalo, opening for Y La Bamba and touring with BESOS, and playing the organ in an African-American church. The EP features Salvatore’s vibrant neo-soul guitar work and also the pentecostal vocals of Andrea Thompson.
