ØZWALD Drops "Technicolour Sky" Video and Announces Debut LP "Sweet Delirium"

Los Angeles-based retro-rock band ØZWALD premieres the raucous new music video for single, "Technicolor Sky," which debuted last November upon the band's inception. Stemming from the minds' of guitarist Steve Stout (ex-Blondfire, Lost Beach) and Jason Wade (Lifehouse), ØZWALD was born out of a mutual love of '60s & '70s rock and roll. Together they bring their own unique spin on a classic sound. "Technicolor Sky" is the first taste of their debut full-length, Sweet Delirium due out April 5, 2019, via Allswells Records.

Steve Stout (Blondefire, Lost Beach) and Lifehouse's Jason Wade have teamed up to bring a paisley-patterned, modern-vintage kaleidoscope of sound with ØZWALD. Fueled by mutual heartbreak - they type of heartbreak you "lose your lease, your car and end up living in your friend's studio" over, the duo produced a twelve-song album in only twelve days. The final product is Sweet Delirium, a cathartic odyssey of rock and roll and reconciliation.

Opening track and lead single, "Technicolor Sky" feels like a lost George Harrison track with lackadaisical slide guitar, twangy progressions, and hallucinogenic lyrics that carry an air of melancholy, signaling that there's something more to this throwback rock duo. "Dream Child" follows like a mystical desert anthem. Shrouded in reverb, the soaring vocals call out to all those who feel lost. It's a beacon of light in the darkness to carry the listener to freedom.

Steve and Jason's expansive delirium becomes even hazier on the thought-provoking "As the Crow Flies." Age-old existential questions are explored in an effort to reconcile with life's mysterious ways. "Vacancy" conjures images of cowboys riding on the range in search of something more and album closer, "Always Be In Mind" showcases the duo's more contemplative side.

Sweet Delirium will be available worldwide April 5, 2019 via Allswell Records.
