Monsta X have been on an fast-paced upward trajectory here in the U.S with OC Weekly calling them “power players in the K-pop game,” and Metro UK comparing their fandom to the likes of One Direction stating “...the Hammersmith Apollo on Sunday night looked like the intense sort of fan dedication not seen since One Direction were a thing.” They finished up their 7-stop stateside tour in August, where they captured the attention of notable press all over the U.S including Forbes, Access Hollywood, E!, iHeart, Mario Lopez, Buzzfeed, Allure and performances on both Good Day NY and Good Day LA. They’ve spent 44 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Social 50 chart above U.S artists such as Post Malone, Kanye West and more. The Connect: Dejavu, their latest album, also found itself atop 2 of Billboard’s major charts; Heatseekers at #8, World Albums at #2. Billboard noted, “...This was enough to land the guys at No. 2 on Billboard's World Albums chart and a No. 8 debut on Heatseekers Albums -- a new peak for the band on the chart that sees far fewer K-pop acts land entries”.
