Meet Toronto Based Hip-Hop Collective High LMNT$
Meet High LMNT$ (pronounced el-e-ments), an up and coming hip hop collective out of Toronto. In a time filled with Lil Pumps and generic lines, LMNT$ is a well-produced, refreshing wakeup call with sharp visuals that are just as impactful as their tracks.
Wavy with a quick flow that seamlessly alternates between Big Miggs, Marcus Campbell, and Knightingale, this trio is coining a new brand of stoner rap that Wiz Khalifa would be proud of. The timbre of each of their voices, along with their spitfire yet languid delivery, sticks in our mind hours after listening. They rep the Toronto neighbourhood Scarborough, a community with rough roots on the east side of Toronto.
Most of their subject matter isn’t on guns and girls, but keeps more accessible. The trio all has career links in cannabis, and belong to their own cannabis brand, The Dank Of Toronto, which offers niche services like edibles and pre-rolls. Since Mary Jane plays a big role in their inspiration, the hustle, good vibes, and cannabis are three steady subject staples in the High LMNT$ sound.
This accessible content matter is stuff we can all relate to, like combating that bad energy while relaxing on a spliff after a hard day of grinding. These are tunes for the high functioning stoner with aspirational vibes and a fiery urge to get it all done, while coming out on top.
