Congratulations on the release of your new single "Good Loving". What motivated you to write this song?
“Good Loving” came from a special place in my heart. It’s basically me telling my future girlfriend some of the good things I will do for her and also appreciating her.
You define your music as "Afro Fusion"; what does that description mean to you?
I define my music as Afro Fusion because I love mixing Afro with different genres or sounds, especially reggae and dancehall. Yes and I love my music calm and groovy.
Who are some Nigerian artists that have inspired you as a music creator?
I listen wide across different genres but some of my Nigerian inspirations are Maleek Berry, Wizkid, Davido, Simi, Don Jazzy, Wande Cole etc them plenty.
What are some things that inspire you to create music?
My inspiration comes from everywhere and basically anything, and also from listening to other people’s craft.
Tell us about the music scene for emerging artists such as yourself in Lagos, or Nigeria overall? Are there a lot of venues to perform and are locals supportive of up and coming artists?
The music scene right now for up and coming artists is looking pretty great. I see a lot of young artists grow musically everyday and it only gives me hope that soon my music will be mainstream. There are a lot of venues to perform at but we still need more, and yes, locals are supportive as long as you make good music.
Will "Good Loving" be a featured song on an upcoming EP or album to be released this year? If so, what can you tell us about it?
Well no, because right now I am not working on any projects but I definitely will release projects in the future....BUT! I have a new banger dropping on the 26th of April though. It’s titled "Slow Down" and it will be released on all streaming platforms.
