Bronx Based Rap Artist Rich Writer Releases His Debut EP "Mongo Slade"
DCWS is excited to share with you the debut EP entitled “Mongo Slade” by Bronx based artist and true Hip-Hop enthusiast Rich Writer. Inspired by his desire to reignite attention to his hometown, “Mongo Slade” delivers raw and relatable content coupled with an authentic New York sound. The 9-track project features Sidda and Mo Lowery and production from Yondo, Marcus, and Epik D'Artizt.
Rich Writer is inspired by well respected New York rappers such as Method Man, Grand Puba, and Fabolous, and he values lyricism in a way that is substantially reflected in his music. With a musical approach that combines classic East Coast influences with innovative and eccentric wordplay, flows, and production, Rich Writer is carving out a unique lane in modern-day hip-hop. His ability to think outside of the box in addition to his extensive knowledge of music and Black culture has given him the platform to inspire other creatives to walk in their purpose.
